Road Evaluation and Budget Allocation System
Challenge
The municipality faced challenges in budget allocation for city districts and monitoring how it was spent. One key issue was the maintenance and repair of urban roads. However, the exact budget needed for each district was unclear, and there was no assurance that the allocated funds were used effectively for road repairs.
Proposed Solution
A centralized system based on mapping technology and an app was proposed. Evaluators would record road damages, and the system would calculate the budget needed for each district. Districts were required to repair reported damages and update the system with photos of the completed repairs.
